well somebody has to be the first to try the turbos... if I remember right Bernie was the first to try the GT2530s on his car, before then, nobody really knew how well the GT2530s will work on the Z32. I would love to slap the IHI turbos on my Z but you know I am a poor grad student :) Well perhaps I am not a "mature and technical" contact, but couple of points... Bernie's source is the same as mine; I was also told 600hp... it wasn't till I asked more carefully that it was revealed that he was referring to 600RWHP. He later obtained for me the manufacturer specs, which corroborated that info. As for Chip's info... yes, these turbos are considered very close to the GT2530s in power, but that's because most people compare them as SINGLE turbos, and as single turbos, the difference is only 20-30whp. On a TT setup, the difference is a very significant 50whp. All I can say is that I checked alot of sources, the manufacturer has a very good reputation, those who have tried the turbo on Silvias and WRXs say they are great, and I could find noone who had reliability issues. And there are a number of Zs in Japan running this turbo kit. I think overall, that means that these turbos should be given some consideration... BTW, I have your Impul filter, I guess I'll pass it on to you this weekend...
